Robert T.R. Bradford was born in Chattanooga, TN and grew up in the surrounding area. Bradford obtained his bachelor's degree at Middle Tennessee State University, where he found success in publishing poetry and, eventually, his teen novel Above the Pines. After living in both Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Nashville, Tennessee, Bradford now resides in Chattanooga with his wife Madison Bradford and their dogs Toaster and Basil.
